The pneumatic (piezometric, electropneumatic) level measurement system in ballast/service tanks and vessel draft is designed for installation on any types of vessels — tankers, bulk carriers, gas carriers, barges, as well as floating docks.
PNEUMERCATOR SYSTEM FOR MEASURING DRAFT AND LEVEL IN BALLAST AND SERVICE TANKS
The products are supplied with certificates of the Russian River Register (RRR) and the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS)
The system provides:
The principle of measuring the level by the system is the periodic supply of compressed air to the tank through an air tube running from the measurement unit of the system to the bottom of the tank. After the end of the air supply to the tube, the excess air pressure is drained through the open end of the tube located at the bottom of the tank, and a pressure equal to the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid column in the tank is set in the tube. Thus, by measuring the steady-state air pressure in the tube and knowing its density you can calculate the current level of liquid in the tank.
The vessel's draft is measured similarly to the measurement of the liquid level in tanks, in this case, the air tube is removed from the System in the bottom of the vessel.
Due to the adaptive pulse mode of operation, the system has a very low air consumption, while ensuring high accuracy and efficiency of measurements regardless of the length of the pneumatic lines.
The system has a certificate of standard approval of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) and is built on the basis of components of its own production — computers, controllers, sensors, which also have the approval of the RMRS and the Russian River Register (RRR).
The system can be supplied either separately or as part of an integrated technical means control system.
