Alarm and communication system (ACS) is designed to display information received from external radio navigation devices in the form of light and sound signals for the formation of light and sound emergency warning signals when receiving signals requiring attention from the radio navigation equipment of the navigation bridge.

The ACS provides light and sound signals to attract the attention of the watch assistant, and in the absence of his reaction, notify the shipmaster and the master's mate. The system provides the master's watch assistant with a means of immediately giving an alarm for an emergency call to the master and master's mates on the navigation deck.
