The emergency alarm system provides the supply of a ship-wide alarm and other alarms given by light and sound devices, according to the rules of the Shipboard Damage Control Manual (SDCM).
GENERAL ALARM SYSTEM
The system includes:

The emergency alarm system has up to five alarm modes:
- manual mode;
- ship-wide/boat alarm;
- man overboard;
- radiation hazard;
- chemical alarm.
The number of operating modes of a particular system is determined by the customer. The operator switches on the necessary alarm mode by pressing the appropriate buttons on the control panel.
The control panels of the emergency alarm system are installed in the wheelhouse and in the room intended for keeping watch when the ship is parked in the port, if there is one on the ship.
Light and sound devices are installed in engine rooms, in public spaces, on open decks, in the corridors of residential, office and public premises in accordance with the requirements of the relevant classification society.
